She’s planned weddings and successful private events at restaurants in Boston and Cambridge, and loves helping clients realize the party of their dreams. About our name

Amarcord Events & Parties was named after the 1973 film “Amarcord” by Federico Fellini. The movie’s title comes from the Romagnol Italian phrase “a m’arcord,” which translates to “I remember.” Since the film’s release more than fifty years ago, the word “amarcord” has worked its way into the general Italian lexicon, used to describe a profound memory or something nostalgic.

We want to create a day you’ll always remember. That’s why we chose “Amarcord.”
